I spent my summer vacation in Minnesota. I was looking forward to this homestay program because I experienced homestay before. I went to California when I was high school student.
I learned about Minnesota history, the American education systems and social programs. My host family taught me many things.
In school, I become interested in the school systems. There are 4 types of schools in America. There are public schools, private schools homeschooling and charter schools. This was the first time that I heared about homeschooling and charter schools.

VACATION
I spent my summer vacation in Minnesota! My host family was very kind to me! I had turned 20th, they celebrated my birthday! We went to Japanese restaurant; we ate sushi, tempura and miso supe... It was so good! I want to go there again. My mother taught me cooking. I made cookies, cakes and tacos with her. I was so fun. I made many cookies in Japan. But it wasn't good.
On holiday, I went to their cabin with them. There were very beautiful place! I relaxed very much. They has 3 boats, we road a boat and we swam in the lake! I went to Canada in the lake!!!!

I’ll tell you about my campus life. I study English from morning everyday. And I take teaching course. I have a part-time job, so I go to there after school. I’m swimming instructor in sport club!
